One thing I am not a fan of is autumn. Because autumn means that it is almost winter. And I hate winter. In fact, the dread of the approaching winter is almost more unbearable than winter itself. Autumn for me is a like a big neon sign saying ‘Things are going to go downhill from here.’ No one likes that. Yes, I stare wide-eyed at the changing colours and breathe ‘wow, isn’t it all so beautiful’ like everyone else. But inside my heart is sinking. I like heat. I like holidays.
