Happy Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!

Normally I am not a big fan of this holiday, mainly because creepy things scare the bejesus out of me. I can't even watch anything remotely scary without having nightmares plague my sleeping hours for weeks afterwards. But, as I reasoned when it began to approach, a holiday is a holiday, and since I love holidays I have decided to learn to love this one.

And it wasn't hard. Pumpkin everything, lollies and chocolate in funny shapes, the Monster Mash playing out of most speakers, parties and dress ups? What was there not to love?

Plus this year I downloaded a list of Halloween movies for wimps, so I'll be treating myself to some non-scary fun for the rest of the week (because holidays should ALWAYS be dragged out over seven days at least).

So hopefully you all have a wonderful day/week full of fake skeletons, awesomely tacky decorations and scary(or not!) movies with your loved ones.

And remember: You're never too old to go trick or treating!

p.s. photos taken by my talented friends, not me!

I am so with you - I don't like scary things, but I LOVE Halloween! Looks like your party was pretty scary, though! Glad you had a fun time! :)

Happy Halloween! And the best non-scary Halloween movie... the cartoon version of Sleepy Hollow!

ahahahah. Your pictures scared the bejesus out of me. Too realistic for my taste.

But I understand what you say about being scared by nature and Halloween. There's too much fun and fantasy in Halloween that makes one jump the wagon and thinking that a bit more of blood wouldn't hurt.

Happy Halloween,

T (thank you for stopping by my blog :love)

Wow, that's a scary party. Yikes.

Oh, I might need a nap..before starting my nanowrite more novel tomorrow..at midnight.

Then I heard my Dad say we might be going to Arizona sometime in November..That's scary since I want to spend my time writing a novel.

Happy Halloween!

Non-scary movies for Halloween are the only way to go. I cannot watch horror movies or anything with scary images, or I will not sleep for days. No joke. Mr. A has learned his lesson.

Hahaha, I am also toooo scared of scary movies! I just can't watch anything remotely scary or I won't sleep well for days (weeks)... Would love to know what's on your list of non-scary halloween-movies! Hope you had/have a superfun Halloween celebration!

I can't handle anything scary - last night I had to close my eyes during a show about baby polar bears...

The picture of that bowl of (supposed) blood scared me. Yes. Still, Happy Halloween. :)

Yay! Way to embrace a really fun holiday. It used to be my favourite when I was a kid.

Dress up really makes the holiday, you know. I think that's what Christmas is missing!
