Ahh, ‘tis Monday once more. It’s a bit of a shame, but just think: Only 5 more days until next weekend!
The past weekend for me was all about saying yes. Yes to new experiences, new friends and new memories.
I hadn’t even realised I haven’t been doing that nearly as much as I should. Ruts are so easy to fall into, yet so hard to recognise when you have.
And so I said yes. Yes to poker nights. Yes to parties, $5 bottles of port and meeting new people. Yes to laughter, hangovers and mistakes. Yes to tea dates, brunch, building giant leaf piles to jump in and taking chances. Yes to soaking up the last piece of nice weather Canberra has to offer.
From now on it’s yes to life.
How was your weekend? What motto did you live by?
xoxo
*Note: saying yes does have its drawbacks...I’m just as sick as before. I guess the next thing I will be saying yes to is a doctor’s appointment!

i think may is going to be detox month!
glad you had a great weekend, canberra is always so beautiful in autumn.
Thanks for your recommendation, and 'Death in Brunswick' is certainly a great one to watch, especially if you like Sam Neil as an actor. He's very good in it. It's not big budget, hugely funny or hugely clever or anything like that, but it's brutally Australian, and that in itself makes it a good movie. Also, 'Muriel's Wedding' is another quintessencial Australian movie. Have you seen that one? I think I actually prefer it. It's more annoying - when you listen to the Australian accent for so long it becomes nauseaus - but very clever and sweet. Both are good. Lots of love and get-well-soon thoughts. Take care. The Book Florist.
