My weekend will include

turning another year older, cake, hugs, laughter, cheap wine, friends and family, fireworks, brunch, Dickens, a beautiful new keyboard, falling in love with song-writing all over again, sending off a few short stories, traveling solo, getting lost in a big city, finding a cafe to write/dream in, people-watching, cheap hostels, train rides, getting glammed up 1950s style, being brave, crossing a couple of things off my bucket list, living


I can't wait.

Any weekend that includes cake and cheap wine sounds perfect to me. Happy birthday, dear! I like that you plan on living. Often, we forget to do that!

sounds like a great way to spend a birthday :)

mine will involve baking baking baking on saturday for a wedding party next weekend, confirming a wedding venue for my own wedding and an engagement party on sunday in wollongong.
wow, A LOT of wedding stuff happening. I think i'm getting old :)

woah!! all that in ONE weekend? that's awesome! i'm either going to be at a weekend-long recording session with some friends making an e.p., or i'll stay home and get the place to myself. i know the recording sounds like a dream come true, but i have been craving alone time like mad. oh decisions! can i just come join you? :)
